I just built my PC for the first time and the sole purpose of it was to buy Battlefield 1 and play on max settings aha. But also to video edit and play AAA titles. But do you guys think the RX 480 will run Battlefield 1 on max settings even though its not even out yet?

I would like to speak up and say to ignore everything people are posting in terms of "leaked performance" of the RX 480. Its the hype machine. The reality of it all is that we don't know.

It is far more likely that the RX480 is going to perform in line with the 970, and the R9 390. Why you ask? Because of how AMD has PRICED the card. Price is really the only true test to a cards placement of performance before launch. If the card performed at the level the leaks are suggesting, the price would match.

We have seen plenty of very false bench leaks before (Fury X)

Your best best is to wait and see what the actual performance is.

We also have NO idea how demanding BF1 is going to be when it launches as well, or how poorly optimized...
It should be able to, look over here http://wccftech.com/amd-rx-480-faster-than-nano-980/, it out preforms the 980 and the 980's max out battlefield games at 1080p and 1440p at ultra with over 60 fps, i think the Rx 480 should handle new games just fine.

We also have NO idea how demanding BF1 is going to be when it launches as well, or how poorly optimized drivers will be come launch of the game. It is always a poor practice to make predictions on hardware that has not launched or been proven against a game that has not launched, or been proven.
