I have a computer that uses windows 10. I hate windows 10 with a passion but the update was forced with no way to stop it. I now want to reinstall windows 7 but nothing is working. I have inserted the windows 7 installation disc, shut down my computer, and then pressed F9 on startup to access the boot menu and selected CD-ROM and its not working. I have also tried the same thing but with restarting the computer instead of shutting it down. i have also specified in the BIOS menu to boot from the CD-ROM drive and that still hasn't worked. Everything I try always results in the computer starting up normally and nothing pops up or happens after i log in. Is there something i can do?

Is your Cd Rom damaged ? if yes, then you can install windows 7 from usb drive. search on google about how to copy windows 7 dvd to usb.
If your cd rom is fine, then probably your installation disk hav problem
