Will the AMD fx6300 bottleneck with the msi gtx 960 4gb

Solution
Bottkeneck is a relative term mate - a 6300+960 you'll be looking at between 45-70fps (mid 50's the majority of the time) at high settings.
Not spectacular but ultimately very playable.

Shouldn't, but it is game dependent. Here's a guide to help you determine/fix any issues.

Overclocking the CPU would help reduce any issues but TBH I think it would be very minor if not at all.

RX480 8GB is coming out this Tuesday, and more models probably ~2 weeks after that. And yes, it would work well, but if you are using 1080p resolution- consider RX470 as well. Reviews, like i said, are coming on 29th. Leaked data puts performance of rx470 at ~GTX970 level, and rx480- at near GTX980 level

No, it is cheaper and sufficient for 1080p and fx6300. Although you could always get a more powerful RX480 and play higher than 1080p with virtual resolution function (I'm assuming your monitor is 1080p). I'm saying this because at low resolution RX480 might not be used in full with fx6300.

Leaks show performance higher than that, but there is no point to argue when reviews are coming out in a few days

It's a $30 difference, if you can pony up the extra cash I would say go for the 8gb version but at 1080P (or less) the 4gb would be fine.

I would highly suggest you to also overclock the FX6300- it overclocks easily, and will help a lot at low resolutions. Or at least get OC ready parts, and OC at some point later. Otherwise- yes, fx6300 and RX480 combination is nice.

No, but in certain CPU heavy games where the CPU might hold back the RX 480 it does help to overclock the CPU but even at stock you should be fine. Refer to this article:
