Specification of my PC -

Motherboard- Asus M5A97 R2.0 (https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A97_R20/overview/)

PSU- iball sprinter 500 (http://www.iball.co.in/Product/Sprinter---500/64)
Graphics- Nvidia GeForce GTX960 4gb (ASUS Strix GeForce GTX 960 4GB DDR5)
Hard Disk - 750GB (WD 500GB Blue + Seagate 250GB)

I am facing PC restart issues for months. While playing games like Call of Duty Black Ops III or Far Cry 4 or other graphics intensive tasks my PC restarts during voltage fluctuations or while power cut off and power switch to UPS Mode. My PC is connected to a APC 700VA UPS which has surge protection.

WHILE PERFORMING NORMAL TASKS LIKE browsing, watching movies, etc PC WORKS FINE EVEN IN POWER SURGE, PC DOESN'T RESTARTS.

I have also checked temperatures of both CPU and GPU. They doesn't get above 60-63 degrees. Normally the remain below 55 degrees.

Greetings!

I am inclined to say that it may be your psu. Did you upgrade or change anything in your system recently that could have started this problem? Also, everything that I can find about iball psus is not heartening...Here is a forum post relating to that brand:

http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2185673/iball-marathon-500watt-peak-gaming-psu-support-amd-motherboards.html

I am thinking that your psu is having troubles under load, and as mentioned in the thread I included, may not even be giving the power it advertises, or could just be declining toward failure.

I would start by just double checking that all your connections from the psu are seated tightly in their sockets/connectors. If that doesn't help, I would...

I would start by just double checking that all your connections from the psu are seated tightly in their sockets/connectors. If that doesn't help, I would recommend maybe trying a different psu (maybe borrow one from a friend) and see if you are still having issues.

Either way, I am inclined to recommend that you get a different psu simply because that brand is not highly rated, and a bad psu can toast your whole system.

Here is the link for psus rated into tiers...1st tier is the best etc...I recommend a 1st or 2nd tier unit for safe computing:

I hope this helps!

I'd say over-heating XP Try running the AC in the room or cleaning out your Computer of dust. Try cleaning first,if that doesn't work then it migth be the Psi or your fans arn't working hard enough anymore.
