Hello guys! I have a question about the 980 ti, I notice that the price is dropping drastically on Ebay and Craiglists. I currently have a EVGA SC GTX 770 4gb and I want to know would a 980 ti be a good choice for playing games at 1080p. I honestly can't tell the difference between 1080p, 1440p, and 4k. My spec are Intel i5 4670k @ 3.40ghz
24 GB ram running at 1600
Motherboard Z97m-Plus (Socket 1150)
Thermaltake 1,000 psu.
Crucial 480 gb ssd
Will my cpu bottleneck the 980 ti or higher?

Solution
Yes the 980ti is overkill for 60hz 1080p.

No your cpu will not bottleneck any video card.

I recommend getting something like the GTX970, R9 390, or new RX480

Hello,
Thanks for replying back, how long do you think the gpu you recommend me would last playing at 1080p? would it be 2-3 years?

Hey, can I asked when I do purchased one of the card you recommend, should I overclock the cpu and gpu or should I leave it at base clock? My intel I5 4670k currently running at stock speed of 3.4ghz.
