Booted up the PC for the first time to enter the BIOS, but I cannot enter BIOS. I pushed the delete key right when I pushed the power button. All I see are Q code numbers changing during boot. None are error codes though.
My system does not have a speaker to listen for beeps.
The Q LED is orange and the Manual says that is a boot device.
The Q LED will be red for a few seconds before settling to orange.

Solution
Did you try removing an re-seating all of your cables, 24 pin, 8 pin, etc.?

Is the monitor set to the correct input source?

Try removing all the RAM and trying only one stick at a time in all the different positions. Try different sticks in case some are faulty.

normally when you press power button you have to wait until a screen from your bios shows up with what buttons to press, not directly when you push power button, also, it could be F11 or another button too

No screen prompts come up. The screen will only say 'Display Port No Signal'.

I am wondering if the mouse and keyboard are connected to the right ports. The obvious is not so obvious looking at the ports on the back of mobo. My keyboard and mouse have USB cables. The keyboard has 2 USB cables. The keyboard and mouse manual says to connect to USB 2 ports, but the ports on the back of mobo say 3.0 and 3.1.
The mobo manual shows keyboard and mouse using PS/2 port. But it only has one PS/2 port, so how can you connect both to one port?

Monitor cable is plugged into GPU Display Port.
I think there is something wrong with the CPU, because the red LED is the first that comes on when booting up. The mobo manual says that the red Q code LED check light is for the CPU. After about a minute, the orange LED will light.

GPU lights are on, but GPU fans start and stop. They don`t run for more than a second or two. I thought this is because it is in idle. The back plate of the GPU is very warm to the touch. Almost hot.

Well, it's clear that the problem has something to do with your gpu! check if there are any cables loose? Maybe you will have to return it and get a new one..

You have a point about suspecting GPU though. If those fans are going to start, no matter if GPU is in action or not, should`nt they run a little longer anyway? At least for 30 seconds or so? And not just quickly starting and stopping. Just a thought.

Those that are familiar with Asus Maximus VIII Extreme motherboards, this is what is happening when I push the power button;
The red Q LED comes on and the Q code is 14.
After about 1- 1/2 minutes, the yellow Q LED comes on and Q code will go through random numbers then settle at 64.
A few seconds later the white LED comes on and then the orange LED. The Q code will stop at 99.

I don`t know if this part of the POST or these are all boot errors.
The manual says the orange LED is for Boot_ Device, the white LED is for VGA, the yellow is DRAM, the red is for CPU. The manual says if there is an error, the corresponding LED will flash. When booting up they don`t flash they just go through a cycle and then the orange LED stays on, and Q code stays at 99.

I removed the RAM and then inserted one stick only. No BIOS still.
Then removed the GPU and connected a HDMI cable from the mobo`s video port to monitor.
Still no BIOS.
Those Q codes I mentioned earlier are not error codes. I looked them up in the manual.
14 is Pre-memory CPU initialization started.
36 is CPU post- memory initialization.
99 is Super IO initialization.
I don`t remember all of them that come up, but I think the computer is going through POST. I may be wrong.

Bearman,
Since the GPU is still out the PC and the HDMI cable is connected to the mobo`s onboard HDMI port, I changed the display`s input selector to HDMI and the BIOS came up.
I will put the GPU back in and use the Display Cable plugged into GPU, and make sure the monitor`s input setting is DP.
I`ll report back. If there is anything else I should do let me know. Thanks.

Reinstalled the GPU and used the Display Port/Cable, set the monitor to DP.

Got BIOS!!!
Now, I`m nervous about what to do next. I looked over the BIOS settings and the BIOS version is out of date. Should I update it?
I got to figure out how to change the boot sequence to the CD/DVD Drive. Gotta figure out which keys on keyboard make the changes.
