These are the SS in my computer ram usage.. as you can see it eats about 12 gb of my ram in just using firefox and prezi.. but previously i used OBS recorder while streaming and playing LOL but I closed all of that.. I wonder why my ram is still not going down.. as you can see it is in order from highest to lowest and only 2 apps are consuming my ram that when added it is only about 2gb.. I'm not that knowledgeable in this kind of situation..

Is this an upgrade or a fresh install? I would guess its an upgrade as unaccountable ram usage is normally associated with them.

Fresh install of win 10 would likely make this problem go away.

If its a upgrade, backup anything you want to save and remove any extra hdd so win 10 doesn't try to install files on it

Win 10 media creation tool - Use this to make a win 10 install USB or DVD

http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1950-windows-10-clean-install.html - follow this guide to install win 10

If its a fresh install, then I assume Malwarebytes and Avast can find no viruses? Does same thing happen if you restart?

Try restarting the pc (and if it is possible, after turning off, try unplugging it) I remember one friend having a problem with the hybrid hibernation or something like that from win8. Perhaps you have some kind of service that didn't stop (like a windows update, you have more than a day without from last boot).

Download Process Explore for a better analysis.
Identify the resources that are hogging you system.
Open "services.msc" from run. keyboard click windows key + r to open run.
Here you can set to have Auto delay start, manual, disable, or auto which will load when you start windows.
svchost can use up unnecessary resource and can be set to Manual.
You can configure by right click on properties of service to modify.
Do not disable essential services and if not sure google the service.

You can also stop a service but reboot your system after you finish selection.

can you enlighten me up? i dont really know that i solved the total ram usage it only cost about 4 gb.. but showing 14 gb consumed.. by the way it is an upgrade..

RAM usage never goes dwon, because the Windows memory manager keeps everything in the RAM that was loaded since last restart until applications or the os itself request more new RAM areas as available. The memory manager then looks for the least used areas and unloads that to the page file or simple discards that. As long as you don't get an out of memory message, everything works as designed.
