Hi, i'm building a new computer and cant decide on a graphics card. i've been looking at the 970 4gb but got told that there was no point as the 1070 coming out. However, there is a pretty big price difference... Need it to be red/black, so basically MSI. My budget for the graphics card is around £300 to £350.

Thanks

Well the AMD RX 480 is in between the 970/980 GPU from Nvidia performance wise. I assume you are from the UK ? There are no real pricing for the uk yet as the card comes out on the 29th but the 4GB edition is $199 and 8GB $229 which would save you some money , but if you wanted nvidia then go for the GTX 1080

The new AMD Radeon RX480 is supposed to be priced at 199$ for 4GB and 229$ for 8GB models, and be faster than GTX 980 atleast. Release date is 29.6, which day the revies should pop up aswell. So I'd recommend waiting a few days to see what happens with them.

GTX 1080 is out of his budget.

Well the 1070 can be preordered for £370 or £390 in stock so could go under your £350 budget when theres more in stock could be days weeks or months, when the RX480 comes out on Wednesday it will be a great card for its price but how good we will find out on Wednesday when the benchmarks are out.
At the moment I would not even consider any other cards.
