I recently upgraded my cpu heatsink and fan, as well as my video card. After the upgrades my computer will randomly freeze up(monitor goes to sleep and keyboard won't work) but fans still run. I've gotten video_tdr_failure BSOD twice but the other times I had to reset it manually.I've tried installing the latest drivers and looking for faulty ones. I have replaced the new video card with the old(working) video card and the problem still occurs. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

CPU: Core2 Quad Q6600
Mobo: Dell 0PP150
6GB DDR2 333.3 mhz
750 watt PSU
Windows 10 Pro

Definitely shouldn't be a problem with not having a powerfull enough PSU with that card, if the PSU didn't for some reason decide fail when switching components.

Since it also occurs with the old GPU, it's a bit less likely that the issue is with the PSU (but still possible). Have you checked the the temperatures for the CPU? It is possible that the heatsink is not seated properly and the CPU is overheating (just one possibility). Although the BSOD in itself points to a GPU problem. Also worthwile to reseat the RAM modules and check other connections aswell while at it. RAM can be very picky sometimes and can suddenly start giving problems when you switch some other component(s) inside your PC and accidentally touch the RAM module(s) a bit while doing it. And like said above complete specs would be helpfull.

Was on mobile and accidentally picked that as the solution. I ended up running DDU and finding drivers compatible with windows 10 and now its working fine. Thanks for your help everyone.
