hey guys, recently just built a new pc and i was really hoping that i would get good performance as i saw in youtube videos (1920x1080 max settings 60+ fps on games such as csgo and league), but i could only run games such as csgo and league of legends at 1920x1080 at low and get 60-100 fps, also every 5 seconds it would drop to 10-15 fps for 3 seconds. dont even get me started on higher demanding games... i can barely run them at 800x600 at 60 fps without it dipping into the 10 fps area every 3 seconds. can anyone help me? do i need to overclock the cpu and igpu for better performance? (updated the drivers already)

specs:
fm2a78m pro3+
a10-7860k @ stock 3.6ghz (nothing changed)
corsair vengeance @ 2133 mhz (xmp profile)
stock cpu fan
2 exhaust 2 intake fan on the side blowing on the mb and cpu and one in the front
750w psu (evga)
1tb wdc blue

unless you got a really cold room you APU is not heating up. 60 to 55 at idle is normal but with lol running it should be a lower number.

honestly I was expecting you to come back with a number close to 0 which means your apu is throttling but apparently its not.

your post doesn't specify but did you go with 8gb ram like the youtube video?

Had that motherboard with an 860k, I'm pretty sure it's the VRMs getting too hot. With a dedicated GPU I would constantly see the individual cores throttle back to like 1GHz for a second randomly even though the CPU was plenty cool.

a possibility. sylentvyper can you get prime 95 stress test a few mins and run it while watching your freq. does it stay at max freq or is it droping down every so often.
