My old wifi adapter was causing problems, this paired with an old D-LINK router I think is causing some problems. Anyway, sometimes my old wifi adapter would give me "Limited" and I would get a DNS error (on Windows 8.1) and it wouldn't work until I woke up the next morning or I reset the modem/router. However it will sometimes work.
When I use the new wifi adapter, all I ever get is "limited" with a DNS error whenever I try to use something. I cannot connect to the internet and no amount of router restarts seemed to fix it.
