Hello as the title states would Asus be comparable or better in quality to Gigabyte or MSI in middle range LGA 1150 and LGA 1151 boards (under $100USD) ? I'm just talking about build quality of the components such as capacitors, the board itself the PCB, soldering of chips and so on...Any comments on build quality with respect to DOA boards or boards which come with a defect right out of the box ?
Asus build quality vs say Gigabyte MSI are they same or better nowadays ?

I'd say GB and Asus are about even, MSi generally uses good components but the QC (quality control) is lacking and has been for a few years now
