I am soon building a new gaming computer. I was going to just use my old PSU. I have a Corsair AX850 gold, which has plenty of power to suit my new build. I have been using it for about 6 years now--and just wanted to make sure it was okay to continue using it in a new build. What is the life span on one of these. I never used anywhere near 850 watts, probably more like 300.
Is there any concern in re-using the old psu?
And for that matter--I am reusing my HDD and optical drives too.
