could 2 small scratches and a slightly bent and scratched (only bent by about 5-10 degrees) capacitor reduce the lifespan of a motherboard, if so by how much do you guys think it would effect the amount of time the motherboard will operate for correctly, i appreciate any help provided :D thankyou for reading, have a good day

Solution
well it works or it doesn't. slightly scratched areas could corrode though from moisture if you live in a high humidity area but most likely those two issue will not do any harm in its normal life span of 5 years or so, if it works right now.

seems reasonable enough then XD its working good enough now so hopefully the future is bright, how would i prevent corrosion?

mabe just some clear nail polish (don't do it with system on though) let it dry before turning system on. I really don't know as not really a common issue.

oh well the copper on the traces isn't exposed so it shouldn't really corrode should it, they are just surface scratches with no visible copper, etc. in the scratch.
