Computer is turning on like its booting up but no picture or power to any USB ports

So basically today I took out my cpu to clean it and re apply thermal paste I put it back on turned on my comp and lone behold I have no picture or power to my USB ports yet all fans are coming on inc gpu and processor and heat is going to my processor and I'm not sure what is wrong I'm stumped I really need help what could cause this when I take the processor out it starts and shuts down immediately when I put it in it just stays on with no picture coming up or power to my USB ports pls help me

And you didn't touch any of the underside by accident? Did you try removing and re seating?

Yeah I did try I've been trying all day there seems to be only one way it can be seated and it's not working at all I just boot up everything is on and have no display or USB ports working

Well if everything is seated correctly, fans are all plugged in and memory and hdd are connected...I'm not entirely sure. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
