CSGO Good PC, Bad FPS

Hello, so not until a couple days ago (from what I remember) I would average 250 - 300+ FPS in CSGO depending on the map. Now, my fps stays around 150 and can occasionally drop under 100 on the lowest settings(which is not ideal for playing CS on a 144 hz monitor) Im not sure what I did or how I could fix it so any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming -- 3x PCIe
CPU:
Intel® Core i7-6700K Processor (4x 4.00GHz/8MB L3 Cache)
Memory:
32 GB [8 GB x4] DDR4-2400 Memory
Hard Drive:
2 TB HARD DRIVE -- 64M Cache, 72
Video Card:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 - 4GB

Noticed that aswell. Saw alot of posts like this one while I was researching what my problem might be.

Update: I updated my GPU Driver and changed my NVIDIA settings to favor high performance. There's a very little difference in frames (~150 w/ drops --> ~180 w/ drops), but still not what it was a couple days ago (250-300+)
