So I realize this is probably a completely crazy question and it isn't anything I plan on doing I was just curious and wondered if anyone had a good answer. So say I have a single CPU slot motherboard (for example's sake, lets say it's an AM3+ Socket) and I just happen to have two AMD FX 8350s laying around (I don't) could you theoretically reroute the pins on both CPUs into the socket, and have both CPU's working? Obviously you'd have to jerry rig some platform or whatnot for the CPUs to sit on and still be cooled properly if it is even possible.

Solution
I don't believe that is possible, because for that to happen, you would need more pins sockets than are available on the motherboard. Effectively, you could only use half the pins on one 8350 chip, and half the pins of another.
The second issue is finding a board to support the TDP of your chips. Each 8350 would be using 125 Watts. Effectively, if each CPU was to be utilized like you were saying, you would need a motherboard able to support 250 Watts, just at stock speeds.
The final issue is software limitation. Since this isn't an official AMD configuration, there will be no support for it drivers wise, and most likely no software will detect the benefits of a second CPU.

I would say the setup your describing is impossible, from both...
