According to this page, your Socket AM3 motherboard only supports up to 4GB RAM,.. BUT it supports AM3 Phenom II x4 CPUs that can use at least 8GB and twice that depending on the mobo make, model and price range... so this information may be wrong because the conflicting specifications don't make sense. I'll keep searching for more specific information and will update this answer.

UPDATE: Well, so far every page I've read says it supports up to 4GB... But, your options are: Install HWiNFO and read under Motherboard SMBIOS it should say the maximum supported RAM size per slot... also have your computer scanned by a Memory Configurator on a RAM website...

And before that, some said to support up to 1GB and in reality could support 2GB DDR RAM.

Sounds great and thanks a lot for helping i been finding out that 8 GB ram is supported then some say its not, then some websites say yes and some say no, like the actual specification websites.

Awesome cause if it supports 8GB i dont need a new motherboard, but i will tell you what it supports in about 10 minutes.

Did both HWiNFO and the RAM configurator scanner say 4GB max?...

I can't see where the motherboard weakness lies because the Phenom II x4 Supports I believe up to 16GB... and the same Chipset (nVidia – nForce 430 MCP61) in a different model motherboard was said to support 16 GB. So I wonder if the 4GB maximum is due to a 32 bit OS.

An example of how these numbers can mislead is my computer... My motherboard supports up to 32GB in 4 slots, that's 8GB per slot, but under Windows 8 32 bits, it says: Max. Memory Module Size: 4096 MBytes... so what it's telling me* is that my motherboard with Windows 32 bit, only supports the maximum RAM a 32 bit OS can support...

* 2. HWiNFO says in: Motherboard > SMBIOS DMI > Memory Devices > Memory Controller >
Max. Memory Module Size: 4096 MBytes which is the total Windows 32 bit can support.

I have 64bit os so its not that and i dont know how to find out on the other one i only did the one that scans Ram and SDD.

This is what HWinfo said

Array Location: system board
Array use: System Memory
Error Detection Method: None
Memory Capacity: 8 GBytes
Memory Devices: 2

so i can get 8GB if so what is the best but cheap 8GB of ram kit?

So I was right after all.. the motherboard specifications say DDR3 4GB maximum but it's not so specific...
It says:
"2 x 240-pin DDR3 DIMM slots Supports Dual Channel DDR3 1333/1066 MHz non-ECC, un-buffered (Max 4GB)
So it doesn't specify if it's maximum per slot or total RAM... so I guess they meant per slot but language barriers got in the way.

That's the right RAM type and speed... and the price is cheap for 8GB Kingston.

If you have any trouble, update the BIOS and try again... and don't forget to tell us the final results.

BTW: To know if the Kingston RAM kit is fully compatible with your motherboard, see if this RAM voltage (1.5v) is the same you get from HWiNFO or from your BIOS

This Crucial Ballistix 8GB kit is even cheaper

The crucial is to fast though or will it downgrade the speed to what is supported?? Also i believe it is 1.5V.

Yes I missed the Crucial speed but yes, 1600 MHZ should slow down to 1333 or 1066 depending which is your motherboard's default RAM speed and it's possible you may be able to overclock the RAM speed BIOS setting to the Crucial Ballistix default 1600 Mhz IF the BIOS has the available settings.. some BIOS in namebrand computers are locked and I suspect your Pegatron mobo is from a HP PC so it's BIOS may be locked. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/316710-30-will-1600-work-phenom

The PCIe 3.0 GPU should work in a PCIe 1.0 socket though a few did not.. they were Nvidia PCIe 3.0 GPU on AMD mobos with PCIe 1.0 socket but with a little luck it should work without issues.

Answering your question on the M2N68-AM SE2 motherboard.
http://www.cnet.com/products/asus-m2n68-am-se2-motherboard-micro-atx-socket-am2-geforce-7025/specs/

It supports 4GB max of DDR2 RAM
It's socket AM2 and is said to support Phenom II x4 (AM3).. but you may have to update the BIOS before it does.

SUPPORTED RAM
