I am getting Crucial SSD and i am wondering how i disable booting from my HDD after Windows 10 is installed on my SSD, Thanks for reading -Jimmy

Also if it helps i am doing a fresh install of Widows 10 Home on the SSD

Solution
shut down the computer. unplug the hard drive, plug in the ssd, boot and install windows to the ssd. boot into windows on the ssd. reboot and plug in the hard drive. Verify the boot order in the BIOS is set to boot from the SSD, exit Bios and boot to ssd and from there you can retrieve any data needed from the hard drive before you format it or you can leave it be as a backup environment if the SSD will not boot.

Thanks for the answer, sorry i did not understand at first :p i am still a newb with pc stuff

If you do this, it helps to boot off the HDD (with the SSD detached), and create a file or shortcut in the middle of the desktop named "THIS IS THE HDD".

That way you're not left wondering if you're booting off the SSD or HDD. And if the SSD does die, you notice it right away instead of a few days later after you've done a dozen other troubleshooting steps trying to figure out why your system suddenly became slow.
