So, for those who don't know - FIFA Online 3 is a free FIFA game that is REALLY POPULAR in Asia. Its mechanics are a weird combination of FIFA's Ultimate Team and PES's Master League. I managed to play it without any lag whatsoever on my older rig. So yesterday I decided to download it on my newer one (which is superior in every way to my older one).
But when I downloaded Garena+ (sort of like an Asian Steam which is the only way to play the game from Europe) and installed it, I fired it up, all looked fine, then BOOM - blue screen of death. I tried to turn Garena+ on again but it brought an error message that said: "Fatal error: folder access denied. Please try to run Garena Plus as administrator once to solve this problem" and so I did. It didn't work.
So after that I decided to just download the FIFA Online 3 + Garena package in the hopes of playing the game. The same error message popped up. Look, I'm asking here, because this is an Asian game with an Asian fanbase, so I don't understand anything in their forums. With the power of Google translate I found out I should uninstall, then download new drivers, then install again and finally run Garena+ as admin. I tried that out too but to no avail.
I am really desperate here. The same error message pops up over and over again no matter what I do. I will try updating all my drivers and then I'll post results, but until then any help is appreciated.
