I'm looking for a cpu cooler for a i5 6600k I have a hyper evo 212 but the socket type is not listed

The particular cooler you have may have been made before the Skylake LGA 1151 socket was released last year, which is why the LGA 1151 is not mentioned.

As mentioned above, all modern consumer Intel sockets use the same cooler mounting and the coolers are interchangeable. In addition, parts are provided to run on AMD motherboards, Extreme systems, like the LGA 2011 or 2011-v3, and even some server boards.

It will fit. What case do you have, the cooler is about 160mm tall? It needs to fit in the case too.
