Hi, about 4 months ago i bought a brand new WD caviar blue 1.0tb 7200rpm...i split it into 2 partitions, one for OS and the other one for files and games...

Then about a month ago bad sectors began to show up and of course health to drop down...now every time i turn on muy pc i notice there's a new bad sector and that's like everyday...

I'm freaking out and dunno what to do...i knows perhaps formatting might do some good but i think that won't solve it permanently..perhaps write zeros or something like that?????

I've been using HDD Sentinel for monitoring....thanks a lot in advance guys i'm about to lose my mind

That is unlikely to make any difference. Bad sectors only lead to more bad sectors.
Contact WD and start the RMA process, or wait for one of the WD reps in here to make an appearance. They are usually right on the ball with things like this.

First, sorry for the -1 vote i was just trying to quote you but didn't know how and messed it :(

I wanted to say i had already tried that and waited for 3hours only getting a useless "PASS" message, so if only you could tell me if some kind of low level format, wipe or write zeros could be a posible solution, thanks un advance
