So i'm going to build my first pc build soon and i've been seeing lots of stuff about having games and your OS on separate drives. Which way Should i do this. Should I put my OS on a SSD and games/programs on HDD? should i put my OS on a SSD and games and programs on another SSD? I don't know so please leave some suggestions so i can have a good idea for what to do with my storage management.

OS and applications on the main SSD. 250GB minimum
For the other drive? Unless you have deep pockets, a 1 or 2 TB HDD will work just fine for games, music, video, etc.

Admirable
When I built a PC 4 years ago, a 120GB SSD was expensive, so I put windows on the SSD, and everything else on HDD
Last year, I built a PC for my daughter with a 250Gb SSD, but still needed a HDD for her music and photos
I am now building a new PC for my son, but with a 500GB SSD now costing £110, I am buying one for him. He won't need a seperate HDD.. putting everything on the SSD will be much faster.

But you put OS on the SSD to get faster loading right? so would my games and other things load faster if i just get 2 SSD's instead of HDD and a SSD

Well, yeah. You can use ALL SSD if you want. Whatever lives on the SSD will 'load' faster.
But this depends 100% on your personal space requirements.

If you have 2TB of game/music/video...you need deep pockets to have that all on SSD's.
But also, with some things...it does not matter, SSD or HDD. Your music playlist, or a movie, does not play any faster if they live on an SSD.
