I extracted the zip files and have all of them on a thumb drive. Now what? Do I go into the BIOS and update each one individually from there OR try to "run" them from the tdrive in Win10 (they don't seem executable). If I "run" the updates from the BIOS, how?

Btw, I did flash the BIOS to the most updated version 9.x just after POST on this new build. I'm a first time builder newbie.

I'm doing all this just to keep current on all drivers, just to be safe--the only reason I'm even doing this.

Thanks!

Solution
The mobo drivers get loaded through Win, boot into Win and then start running the update - might want to do the mobo chipset driver update first ans the others often interact with the main chipset ;)

Tradesman, exactly the advice I was looking for...except I'm a newb so I'm begging a bit more qualification :)

"boot into Win and then start running the update - might want to do the mobo chipset driver update first and the others often interact with the main chipset" ?

Once I restart Windows10, how do I run the drivers update first for the mobo chipset and then the others?

Thanks again :)

Turkey3_scratch, your advice to execute the chipset driver first solved everything. After a Win10 reboot, I was able to "see" the Setup files for each of the other drivers and install them successfully--save the onboard VGA (some error) that I believe is because I'm running a separate GPU as my main driver. I was going to link the screenshot of the files but I don't see a link to upload a pic, seems that I'd have to have a site host the image and link that..

Aside from Win10 not allowing me to install Chrome, things seem good to go (*winks knowingly that something else will pop-up soon).

Love the handle btw.

And thank you again. This sites users are so very helpful and effective.

Cheers
