Just started using my computer to play games and the thing seems to be heating up a lot my gpu is on 70 percent averagely while gaming fallout 4 on default auto graphics settings so I started playing while checking all of my fans the graphics card fans are fine but I noticed my power supply fan isn't running I've been playing for 3 hours the power percent is mostly using 70 percent the last 3 hours and then fan on power supply hasn't spun once.... any one have any ideas?

Solution

Its COMPLETELY normal. Its just the Zero RPM Mode.

Info from Corsair: The efficient design of the RM750 means minimal excess heat generation, so the fan doesn't even need to spin under low to medium loads. And when you're pushing it hard, the thermal sensor controls the fan...

I'm not sure on the actual thing but it's a RM750 Corsair power supply. My graphics card is fine the fans are all spinning ( even though on default graphics settings the gpu is averagely 70 to 75 degrees hot which seems too much for me ) but the power supply I've been playing for over 3vhours now it's using averagely around 70 to 80 percent of the power and the fans on the plus haven't spun once. They don't even spin as I turn my computer on at the start

Info from Corsair: The efficient design of the RM750 means minimal excess heat generation, so the fan doesn't even need to spin under low to medium loads. And when you're pushing it hard, the thermal sensor controls the fan speed to ensure that it gets the cooling it needs without any extra noise.
