I have decided to upgrade my current rig:
CPU: AMD FX-8350 (not OC)
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S with two NF-F12 case fans on it
Case: Corsair Carbide 200R
Video Card: SAPPHIRE DUAL-X Radeon R9 280 3gb
Power Supply: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W 80 PLUS BRONZE
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1866 (X2, 16GB In Total)
MoBo: ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 AM3+
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB (BOOT DRIVE)
2x WD Caviar Blue 1TB HDD
So what I am trying to do is upgrade my MoBo, RAM, GPU, and CPU and keep everything else the same. The only thing I am set on getting for sure is an MSRP priced GTX 1070 (whenever that happens) but everything else is up for change. I need help to know whether or not I have the right CPU, Mobo, and RAM I need picked out (i.e. is the CPU overkill for that card?) , so I will be very grateful for any help. I am on a around $1000 USD budget. Thanks!
