Hi everyone and thanks for looking at my question. I am running windows 10 64 and upgraded from a fresh install of windows 7 64 and had the same problem.
R9 390 Displayport -> CLub3D Displayport adapter -> working HDMI chord -> LG49UHD6100 4k TV
It will not recognize this input and when I switch back to just HDMI I see the following messages from the AMD Radeon control panel:
1 - the system detected a link failure
2 - the system has detected a problem between your computer and the Displayport
System works fine through HDMI but only 4k @ 30Hz which is why I bought the Club3D adapter as it was listed as the only way to get 4k @ 60 Hz.
I have searched the forums and set my computer power to high performance and disabled the non-AMD audio drivers. Please halp I work 2 hard not 2 play HL2 and others in 4k @ 60 Hz!
