Graphics card underperforming, All drivers are Upto date

Hi there, for a few months my graphics card has been under performing, all drivers are up to date. It just happened out of the blue. My power are set to High performance and that hasn't helped, I would really appreciate if someone could help me with this because I can't afford the upgrade I want to get right now.

Basic specs:
GTX 750 TI
i5-3350P CPU @ 3.10GHz
8 GB ram

Have you been performing clean installs when you update your drivers?

Yes I have still underperforming don't know why.

For example with games like Mortal Kombat X that I was able to run before, are no longer run able at a playable fps, I think these problems started to occur after my first attempt to overclock my with OC guru I followed a tutorial, after about 5 mins I set the settings back to default and that was that. a month later these micro stutters started and so did the performance.
