I own 2 Motorola Arris Surfboard SBG6782-AC cable modem/wifi routers. I have installed a POE filter.
I want to link the Surfboards over MOCA / coax to provide Wi-Fi and Ethernet drops to the distant, opposite ends of my house. The user manual does not explain how to do this. [ Bridge? Port forward? DHCP management? Pass Through MAC Address? ]
I do not want a wireless repeater to connect the Surfboards. I do not want to run Ethernet cable to connect the Surfboards. I do not want to buy MOCA adapters. I will only pay my ISP to provision one of the Surfboards.
Any help is appreciated.
