Hi, I want to make my new graphic's computer and I want to ask few questions :

1-is any GPU /CPU/ which plugs to a mobo which supports it will make the same performance if it plugs to another board which is higher ?

2- which is more important the cores frequency or threads if there are two CPUs the difference between them is in threads and cores frequency such :i7-4765T and i5-4440 ?

3-how can I trust that the CPU's and GPU's best performance will be with that board without other boards which supports it and how can I match and get the complex components with themselves ?

4- if there is a CPU which his TDB is 84w . how many watts will it need at maximum ?

And what about this PC :

Gigabyte GA-H97-HD3 or GA-Z97-D3H ?
Intel Core I5-4440 Haswell 3.1GHz 6M LGA 1150 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Gigabyte Geforce GTX 750 Windforce 1GB GDDR5 (GV-N750OC-1GI)
CORSAIR Vengeance 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3 160suggest
Intel 535 Series 120GB SATA 6.0Gb/s
ZALMAN ZM700-GV 700w 80 Plus Bronze PSU

And what cooling system do you suggest
Please accept my full respect and pleasure.

1) So as long as the 'higher' motherboard has the correct socket and a PCI express lane then the CPU and graphics card will fit into it. E.g a motherboard that has an h97 or z97 chipset will fit a skylake CPU (that is LGA 1151).

2) If you're gaming frequency is generally the most important providing you have at least 4 cores (the current price to performance sweet spot), If you're doing more editing/rendering etc you will want more cores and threads

3) Not quite sure what you mean, if you're concerned about whether things are compatible and you're not sure just ask on here, but you just need to check things match like the CPU and motherboard socket type being the same etc.

The performance of a CPU or GPU will vary very little whether you're putting it in an ASUS or MSI or Gigabyte motherboard of roughly the same price range.

4) So TDP is just the amount of head dissipated by the CPU and isn't quite the same as how much it uses, for the build you suggested above 700W is overkill but does allow you to upgrade in the future, something like 500W would be perfectly enough.

THE BUILD:

- Go with the H97 motherboard since the CPU can't overclock so you don't need an overclocking motherboard
- CPU sounds good
- The GTX750 is pretty old now and won't run games that well, for decent price to performance I recommend the GTX970, it's come down in price now the 1070 has been launched
- I would recommend at least8B of ram with most builds nowadays, just get 2 of the 4GB sticks
- SSD is fine, might want to add an HDD for mass storage is 120GB isn't enough
- That PSU sounds dodgy, always go for a decent PSU because a bad one can ruin your whole computer, the EVGA 500W Bronze PSU is pretty good

- Cooling your best bet is probably the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, really cheap and really good performance

I hope this helps.

Thanks somePcNoob but you said in point 1 as: a motherboard that has an h97 or z97 chipset will fit a skylake CPU (that is LGA 1151) but how is that?? That board has a 1150 socket.
2 - That's good thanks Mr :)
3 - ok
4 - so, how can I know how much it will use?
The build: too fine, but I want my build for programing and animation but GTX970 is too expensive? Is the Intel® HD Graphics 4600 which is embedded with CPU will be enough?
You helped me too

1) That was my mistake, z170 is for skylake, but if you're doing programming etc I'd probably recommend the h97 motherboard with something like an i5 4460 as it will be much cheaper as anything from skylake and you don't need all that performance

4) It will probably say somewhere in the product specifications, but generally for a cpu like an i5 or i7, along with the usual motherboard, ram etc and a graphics card 500W would be more than enough

Build - definitely, if you're just doing programming and animation the built in Intel HD graphics will be just fine for you, and you can always add a graphics card at a later date if you ever feel like you need one

Hope this helps

Sorry, I looked for i5-4440 processor, but I didn't find it anywhere and I found i5-4670k which is unlocked and cheaper than i5-4460 and it is higher in frequency what do you suggest? Will it (processor) work well with that board or not?

Yep, the i5-4670k will work absolutely fine and will have better performance so if it's cheaper go for it!
