Trying to upgrade my hp 6005 pro sff and looking for any and all solutions to getting a beefier PSU

SFF are called "small" for a reason - limited resources, limited heat dissipation, in many cases non-standard PSU. I doubt you will find another motherboard to fit the case. The only upgrade you would make is to find low-profile GPU, again checking against the PSU.
That model appears to have an AMD Athlon II X2 B24 CPU. This can be reused in an AM3+ motherboard. The CPU currently sells for $15 on Amazon.com, so I would hesitate to build a PC around such a low end CPU model. The hard drive and optical drive can be reused. You would need to purchase a new OS license.
