Steam Download Taking Forever

Earlier today i started to download NBA2K16 on my Macbook Pro through wineskin and it is taking a really long time to download. I started the download over 5 hours ago and it is at 4gb/44gb. Any ideas why??

Is your Network usage always around 500 KB/s? If it is it will take a very long time to download 44 GB worth of data. The best advice I can give you is to make sure there aren't any other programs using your network data in the background. Other than that you'll just have to be patient and wait out he download.

On speedtest.net my download speed is about 7 MB/s but i get a lot lower on steam. All my other downloads are a lot faster. Still about 20 hours left:/ Thanks:)

No problem, it's odd that Steam downloads are so slow for you. It's possible that there is a Steam bandwith limit set. Open Steam, go to Settings, open up the Downloads section and there is an area where you can limit download speeds. Make sure it's set to No Limits.
