Since my motherboard (Gigabyte z170n gaming 5) is RMA now, I'm looking for a new one, I already have a case Silverstone rzv02, 16gb ddr4 ram and CPU i5 6600k, so not willing to change that part, which means I'm looking for mini ITX mobo for gaming mainly, was looking for Asus pro gaming z170, but reviews are very mixed, as rock, not thinking about gigabyte at all now... any other ideas?
Price has to be around $200

oh, and it should also have m.2 nvme, since it is going to be my main hard drive

EVGA Z170 Stinger
Asus Maximus VIII Impact
^Pardon the Newegg links, you didn't specify a preferred site for purchase.

They are both well priced for the feature set but I think the ROG board would do you good since you don't have to add on wireless connectivity options.

If you want M.2 then you're pretty much stuck with those offered by MSI, Gigabyte and ASRock options if you're looking for an on the board style connector.

1- ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Impact ,

https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/MAXIMUS-VIII-IMPACT/

is good but no M2 slot ont , only U2 (which you can use with intel 750 U2 2.5 inch NVME drive ) it is the same performance of the card .

here is the intel U2 750 NVME SSD

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820167296

if you want M2 slot then your best option is

2- ASUS Z170I Pro Gaming

https://www.asus.com/sa-en/Motherboards/Z170I-PRO-GAMING/

and is more affordable. and has great onboard sound.

Z170I Pro Gaming - Is also of lower quality and has been known to go under RMA as well. It's cheaper for a reason>lower build quality. Kind of a toss up since high end boards are suffering from QC issues as well across all makers.

Did I state that the Gaming moniker is now a way of quantifying the "budget" audience?
