can i use 8gb+4gb ram in my gigabyte h61ms motherboard ? Which ram supported DDR3 & DDR4 in gygabyte h61ms

DDR3 is required, but the modules should ideally be the same except for their size. Why would you do that? Why not install a 16 GB kit if you need 12 GB?
