Radeon 6870 on a 450watt psu?

Hello, i am going to buy a Radeon hd 6870 for 60 dollars next week but im pretty worried ill have to buy a new psu as well, My current is Ezcool 450watt psu, but the gpu requires 500. Lets keep in mind i disconnected the cd drive, due to no use of it, only have 1 harddrive and removed the fans so power will be available but i still need professional help. My current specs are:
Intel Core2Duo e8400- 3:00 ghz
HyperX fury 4gb ram
Asrock g31 motherboard
Ezcool 450 watt psu
Hitachi 500gb harddrive hdd
Nvidia gt 610 1gb

Do yourself and your local fire station a favour and get a better PSU, I've had an EZcool PSU shaped object go up in flames and if I hadn't been right there at the time it would have burnt the house down.
