Fan Profile for an EVGA gtx 1080 SC question

I'm getting an EVGA GTX 1080 SC soon and I was wondering what type of fan profile should I be going with for the card to keep it in a safe temperature range when gaming at 1080p with maxing out graphics settings? I think the case itself will be pretty well ventilated as its a Phantom 630 with a 200mm intake and 200mm for top exhaust and a 140mm fan on the rear exhaust. Should I be changing the curve from the base that EVGA provides? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
Just leave it set to Auto fan. Messing with the curve is only going to increase your fan noise level.

The only reason to go with a custom fan curve is if you understand how Turbo Boost works and you're trying to accomplish a specific goal within the context of Turbo Boost parameters.

Otherwise letting the card's engineering work as intended is better than arbitrarily forcing a lower temperature without a sound rationale.

Ah okay so the default curve will keep the card in a safe range even at load and won't shorten the life of the card? Also at what temperatures would the card be considering to get to hot if you don't mind me asking? Thank you for the help so far btw.

Your card has a Turbo Boost Temp Limit of 82c. That's the temperature at which it dials back on the boost clocks to cool itself off. Your card is designed to cool itself when it needs to and warm itself up when it needs to, with 82c as the limit it seeks to stay below.

Ah awesome thanks for letting me know good to know it won't cook itself then.
