Hello,

I have a amd fx 8320 and I was getting concerned about the heat. The core is getting around 60C and the package temp is getting around 63. I haven't experienced any throttling and my computer hasn't shut itself down so i'm at a loss. I have a push pull fan heat sink that came when I bought the case and I put on the thermal paste correctly. Any suggestions or should I even be concerned?

Did you get a new cooler? I love Corsair coolers myself. H80i V2 has incredible performance for 120mm rad. cooler. Air cooler cost less if budget requires. Hyper 212 EVO is good deal.

Check your installation. Maybe its not quite flush...maybe a different thermal paste... Are you overclocking? Have you changed any bios settings?

My FX 8320 was near 50c all the time with an aftermarket cooler (a cheap one though). It runs very hot. I would consider getting a Hyper 212 EVO or a Cryorig H7 cooler for it, they both do a good job at keeping it around 30-40 degrees Celsius.
