Hi,
I Whas Just Wondering If Overclocking My Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 @ 2.93GHz Will Increase My FPS :sarcastic:
My Specs :
8GB RAM
Windows 10 Pro
Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 @ 2.93GHz
AMD Radeon R7 250 2GB DDR3
I Know My Specs Suck But I Cant Afford Anything New Yet :(
Also If It Can Increase My FPS How Can I Overclock My CPU??? :sarcastic:

There are a couple ways to overclock that chip. It depends on what type BIOS you have. If you have an unlocked BIOS you can raise the FSB and voltage. the E7500 runs at 266fsb X11 multiplier, so 333fsb X11 would be 3.66GHZ. more voltage may be required. Up to 1.4V. is considered normal. If the BIOS is locked then you have to use the pin mod method. This is done buy connecting or masking various pins under the CPU. BSEL pinmod does the front side bus in whatever steps the motherboard supports. 266 to 333 is most common. VID pinmod controls voltage. Getting a DDR5 video card will do the most for you though. The Q6700 can be pinmodded to 3.33GHZ the same way.
Monitoring and controlling temperature is mandatory, and the quad cores will make more heat. The Q6600 was popular because Q6700 was expensive when new. But the Q6700 are all G0 stepping which clocks better and runs cooler than the older B3 stepping Q6600. There may be better options if you would list your motherboard make and model number. There are software overclocking methods also.
