I just got two GTX 780ti classifieds, and the only way for me to use my Sli finger is to put them in slots 2&3. When I did this, my motherboard's VGA Led was a solid red and did not post. The only way to get it to post is by putting a smaller card into slot 1 and running it like that. I have a z170-a mother board from Asus, and a 6600k. I do not know what to do to fix this any help would be very appreciated.

Why do you put them in pcie3.0 #2 and #3? Do you have other add-on card between them?
And according the manual, the pcie #3 shared the bandwidth with M2 and two SATA ports ( SATA Express), so if you used either M2 or the SATA Express ports, you can't use the GPU in the slot#3 with M2 or the SATA Express port. Also for CF or sli, you should install the GPUs into the #1/#2 slots.

Hi , Just to make sure are you seating the graphics card properly? is The VGA cable plugged into graphics card? 780ti has a big bracket so make sure that bracket is not a problem causing your graphics card to not seat properly!
