Hi, recently i bought a fx 8350 and a gtx 970 sc evga, it's a very nice combination( I know "you lose some frames") but here in brazil amd is 200$ cheaper than a i5 4440, this config can run anygame, but when i play games i have some fps drops, in battlefield 4 my fps is 120 but some times drops to 40-50 for 1-2 minutes.
I downloaded MSI afterburner, and i see when my cpu try to reach 60% of usage my graphics card drops to 40% for the cpu gets to the 70%. i think the problem is my psu i have an 430w EVGA, if i buy an 550w should stop this fps drops?
