hyper x cloud mic trouble

so i have been using the mic on this headset for a while now with ease. till yesterday my mic kept going in and out and made a static noise then stopped working. whatever i do i can't get it to work. if you can help in any way i would appreciate it.

The only thing I can think of is the cable connecting to the USB box. Sometimes that gets lose and just needs a little push. Other than that, I got nothing.

Did you make sure the MIC is set as default in windows? That is common problem if you have webcams or another mic plugged it. It can default on a different device leaving no sound.

Sorry buddy after that, I have no answer other than to RMA it. mine Cloud unplugs itself every once in a while. That was my only thoughts.
