I was having a bit of nostalgia and remembered the old times in HEAT online (also played Project Torque and Level R), I've been reading through some MMO sites and it's seems there's nothing else than Drift City these days, a shame really.

There's a new title coming sometime (World of Speed, endless development it seems), but nothing more.

There are several racing titles including GTAV that offer multiplayer, so what exactly made it superior in your eyes?

List: http://www.mmogames.com/racinggames/

For FREE titles, have you tried "Auto Club Revolution"? (I have not myself)

I still play Burnout Paradise which is pretty old now, though I never bothered using it online.

If you played the game you should understand me, nor GTA V nor ACR are the same type of game at all.

I did try it, and all I asked was what YOU specifically liked about it since there are many aspects that other games have.

I assume it's the team-based battles, but I guess I can't "understand" even though all you really said was there's nothing else like it.

I thought about helping you but I appear woefully unsuited to the task.

My reply may have sound a little harsh, I swear it wasn't and I'm sorryt. What I ment to say is that the other games you mentioned doesn't feel like HEAT but I should have been more specific is true.

What I liked about HEAT was the interaction between users that you don't have in ACR for example, GTA V is better in that way but I think it's not a racing game (it isn't actually). The concept of building multiple cars and going from racing to battles in HEAT was also nice, the thing that it wasn't 100% real like a sim racing game (like ACR) is what I liked most.

I have played ACR myself and it's a nice game but prefer other sim racing games mostly, GTA V I like the criminal part instead (I also play this one hehe).

Thanks for your reply and I'm really sorry for my other comment, I'm from Argentina and it's probably I don't express very well.
