is this psu powerfull enough for my machine and gpu

16gb ddr 4
i7 6700k
2 ssd samsung 850 evo
1x dvd re writer

and gtx 980 super clocked 2 waitng to be installed.

i found this psu is this good enough can it handle it.

Yes plenty of power however the EVGA G1's are not known to be very good. I would look at the EVGA G2, B2, or GQ models.

If you are installing one card, you are good.
two cards is more iffy.

Still the psu is excellent quality so you should be OK.

I hope you are not looking at sli.
The motherboard does have a second x16 slot, but it is only x4 speed.

Which high current gamer? Some are made by seasonic and are quite good. The G2 is a very good option if its within your budget.

650 watts is enough. However, the EVGA G1 is an older version that we try to steer people away from. If you can get the newer (and more reliable) G2 version of that power supply, you would be happy with it.
