Hi Tomshardware, I've been having this strange connection issue with my friend, lets say friend A and friend B. We've been playing Co-op game like Torchlight 2, I can play with friend A with no problem, and friend B can play with friend A with no problem too. But when I play with friend B there will be lag/disconnection/de-sync. And when 3 of us play together it's either me or friend B getting disconnected. We also tried disabling our firewalls but it did not help. Can any experts help me out?

OS: Windows 7 32 bit
Modem/router model: TP-Link TD-W8901G
ISP: TM Streamyx (2Mb/s)
Connection Type: ADSL
Devices connected: 1 PC, 2 Mobile Phone
PC connected via LAN

I can also see friend A as "Direct Tunnel" in Hamachi while friend B as "Relayed Tunnel"
Friend A sees both of us as "Direct Tunnel"
Friend B sees friend A as "Direct Tunnel" while seeing me as "Relayed Tunnel"

Thanks.

EDIT: We played Torchlight 2 together via internet, not lan.

Lots of games, and other applications are not set to use hamachi correct. Hamachi assigns a 5.x.x.x IP address but the game still sees your LAN or WAN IP.

It sounds like Friend A, B and C are not local to each other. Does Torchlight 2 have an online option that is not using Hamachi VPN?

I just saw your edit. If you are playing over Internet (WAN) then why do you have/need hamachi?

What do I put in the "Local IP Address" when port forwarding? If I put my router's local IP address, it doesn't let me save. It let me save when I put my PC's local IP address. When I tested the port it shows that it is not open.

So I port forwarded TCP 4549. But when I test the port it says its closed. What went wrong?
