So, I just bought my new 200r. My motherboard has no usb 3 header, so I got a little adapter from silverstone. No bent pins, both have 19 pins, and the cable and header will not fit together. The pins start to go into the female end, but then stop at a point where the slightest wiggle will break the connection. Am I missing something obvious? I feel like I must be.
Usb 3.0 Adapter and Corsair Carbide 200r.

You're not missing anything I don't believe. There should be a slight raised area and concave area on the ends that act as a latch. Not much of one, but most have it. See if yours does and if that is stopping you from pushing them all the way together. If possible post a pic of the ends of the two pieces.
