Hi dear forumers,
I knew that OCing the GPU can decrease the GPU life span especially if we overdo it.
But how about if i just OC w/o touching the voltage?
I owned Zotac GTX 1070 amp! & I able to increased stable core clock by adding up 65mhz with end result 1862mhz boost clock w/o touching the voltage. I also just slightly add minimal memory clock which doesn't give significant result anyway.
Max temperature that i got is 73c under full load and it stays below 70c all the time.
The different in temperature isn't noticeable anyway even if i'm using stock clock.

Do this kind of OCing still affecting GPU lifespan? Thanks.

In theory, it will affect the lifespan, but, the thing is, the card would be long since outdated...

In theory, it will affect the lifespan, but, the thing is, the card would be long since outdated completely by the time it may experience issues. I wouldn't worry, so long as teh temp are ok.

Like Hlgsv said you will likely upgrade before you ever kill the card. MSI afterburner or any overclocking software will not allow you to push the voltage so far that it could damage the card, keep yours temps in check and I see no problem with overclocking and overvolting the card, its free performance. Heat is the real killer of electronics not overclocking unless your overclock causes excessive heat.
