How do I connect 2 monitors to 1 DVI port

So I'm going to be getting another monitor in a few weeks but the problem is, I only have 1 DVI port and that's it. Is there any way of using 2 monitors with 1 DVI port?

Nope. It doesn't have the bandwidth.

You need to use another port, If you don't havene e you need a GPU.

So your GPU output only has 1 DVI port? Sounds like you are running off the motherboard. You can pickup a cheap VGA card with multiple outputs.

What other ports does the gpu have? You might be able to use a dp or hdmi to dvi adapter. Other than that you'd need a new card or something like the Matrox dualhead2go device.
