Windows Designer Bluetooth Keyboard not being detected by computer

I have a windows designer keytboard and mouse set. The mouse works fine but when I try to pair the keyboard, it will not pair. This is despite the fact that I have previously used the keyboard before on the same operating system and windows actually recognize the keyboard. I thought the batteries had died so I replaced them yet it still does not work.

When I got into settings > manager bluetooth devices, it recognises the keyboard and gives me the option to click 'pair'. However, when i click 'pair' it asks me to enter a six digit code on the keyboard. When i try to, nothing happens, as my computer doesn't recognise that I am typing on my keyboard.

Any ideas?

Thanks guys!

Andrew

Hi All

I still have not been able to resolve this issue. I have got a replacement keyboard and mouse set from microsoft and I still cannot pair my keyboard as I simply cannot enter the passcode required when prompted. Has anyone had this issue before and resolved it?!

Thanks

Andrew
