Upgrading my Video Card, would a R9 380 be okay for this type of system and PSU?

My R9 270 has failed me, and I am looking at upgrading to a slightly better card. I've heard news about the 480 soon to come out, but I'd at least like to wait a few months after launch so I'm sure I do not get a dud. Anyway, my main concern about the R9 380 is that will my PC be able to handle it? If not, could you please tell me what I need to upgrade? My budget for replacing my card is 250. I'm not the most tech savvy person as you can tell.

Here is what I was planning on buying with some money to spare:

My System

CPU: i5 4670k with a corsair H60
RAM: 2 x 4 GB sticks of Adata XPG's. ( The gold ones, if that matters)
PSU: Corsair CX500, the non-modular one.
Motherboard: MSI-G41-Z87

I'm also running a western digital 1 TB hard drive and a small 500gb one.

Thanks in advance if I do not respond to your answer!

Thats a very good price on that video card. I suggest the 4GB model. You might get some recommendations to hold off till tomorrow and consider getting the RX 480. But it is going to cost between 199.99 and 229.99. Get it if you can afford it.

Your power supply worries me, its a Tier-4 unit according to this: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

I've had them fail and on this computer which i inherited not only did the Corsair CX need replaced I had to replace the motherboard it destroyed as well.
I suggest you upgrade to a Seasonic, XFX or EVGA SuperNova. I am currently using the Seasonic S12II 520W PSU, it cost about $60.00 when I brought it.
