hi there , i'm currently running a i5 3570k with a gtx970 gaming card
And i want to upgrade my pc for maybe better gaming expierence.
From what i read i7 5820k must be the best thing for gaming? Can someone assist me on the mother board.
I like gigabyte .cause it has no problems in my previous pc's.
i will normaly only use one grafic card .
I play games a lot .
And i sometimes create dvd's with convertxtodvd wich use a lot of proccecor.
Thats all .
Can someone advice me a good gaming board for that proccecor?
Thanks a lot

Solution
You would not see any big gains in gaming going up to a i7 5820k, plus you would need new mobo and RAM. The biggest factor/component controlling your gaming experience is not the i5 3570k, but rather the GTX 970. You should consider looking for a new card, possibly a GTX 1070 which is considerably better than your 970 and would be a very noticeable improvement. But there is nothing wrong with that i5 3570k. Its still a decent proc!. However if you are still itching to upgrade the CPU, you might consider just jumping up to a i7 3770k and then you could keep the same mobo, etc. Still, to see a real improvement in gaming, you'll need a better graphics card (although you don't say what resolution you play at). Spending all that $$$...

Spending all that $$$ for an i7 5820k/mobo/RAM and keeping that GTX 970 will net you just a few extra FPS. Not worth it IMHO.

As others have said, your best investment is a new video card. And considering both the GTX 1080 & 1070 offer better performance than last year's best cards for *less money*, I'd say buying last year's best card would be stupid. As chizrah said, GTX 1070 is adequate if you are playing at 1080 resolution or less.

While if i buy now a new mobo +ram+proc(i7 6700k) i spend 600 -650 euro ??

Don't know where you live, but it sounds pretty awful if a used i7 3770k costs that much. I found one on eBay in a 5 second search for $220 U.S. and I suspect shopping around I could find it even closer to $200 (or less). The i7 3770k is still an excellent proc. and well worth that.

And you never said anything about a Skylake i7 6700k. You mentioned a i7 5820k. "srsly."

You will definitely not get any useful help with that attitude. You're complaining about verything these people (who are more knowleadgeable than you, or else you wouldn't be asking) are telling you.

Here, we give our help for free, out of will to help. We sacrifice our time, only to teach other people and stop them from making mistakes. We are NOT forced to help any ungrateful person who thinks he can demand the exact words he wants to hear.
So, you better be more respectful, or you really won't get any help.

And, to answer your question. If you want more performance, just OC your CPU.
You have not stated what frequency you run it at, so I'll assume stock. Then, overclock it and problem solved.

You are asking for our help and we are giving you a solution, but then you are being rude to us because we aren't agreeing with your original suggestion? As anbello rightly said, we don't get paid for this; we don't get anything out of it other than the satisfaction that we helped someone, prevented them from making a mistake and hopefully taught them something. We give up our time for you and you throw it back in our faces?

Like I said, Fifa is probably just horribly optimised. If you want to waste your money on a 5820K, fine, I really couldn't care less but remember that manners don't cost a thing.

For gaming the 6700k comes out better than the 5820k. It has better single core performance, the extra 2 cores of the 5820k generally don't benefit games. I agree with the others the biggest boost will be a gpu upgrade, maybe wait another cpu generation or two until the difference is greater making the upgrade more worthwhile.

but if you overclock the 5820? in fact it has better speed eh?
btw do you understand the others? they write something and they demand me to be super gratefull for there copy paste????
right now i bought the gtx 1070 and my proc is running at 4.3 , it is possible the 6700k or the 5820 overclocked would give 20 to 30 more fps

No, by the time you OC the 6700k it generally pulls ahead again. There is an element of luck, a good overclocking 5820k might outperform a poor overclock 6700k but on average the 6700k maintains it's lead. If it was my money I'd either wait or go 6700k if gaming is the main purpose.

so maybe if i wait 2 more years , i get something better
thanks for your descent answer and for not flaming and blaming me like the others
